My heart, in all, just belongs to Him

Humbled with shame, I approached
The throne of Creator, my Maker
Who fearfully had woven
A wonderful heart.
T'was beautiful, glorious,
Full in love, joy and hope!

A glance at it, today,
Am filled with tears
Its torn pieces that I see
Bleeding with hurts
Trying day and night
Putting pieces in place
Hard it struck me, to realize
I've forgotten its beauty
The way it contained abounding love,
Overflowing joy and everlasting hope.

Falling on knees, tears rolling down
Full in awe, to Him, I plead,
"Would You accept this heart, Lord,
Though it's torn, dry and empty?
Would You restore Your grace
And reform it again?
Please, give it not back, Lord!"
I humbly plead, sighing,
"With me, it'll end broken again!"

Trembling I stood,
As He arose from His throne
Just to wipe my tears and embrace me tight
Turning torn rags into flesh
He healed me from the deep
All this long, through all the pain,
I've learn't this for sure,
My heart, in all, just belongs to Him!
